I have NO IDEA if this story is true or not, but it's rather damn funny anyway. Oh, and the delicacy he's talking about is an Ostepølse med bacon (Hotdog with cheese, wrapped in bacon)

True or not that is a hilarious story. Good thing I've got my own office, I was sitting here laughing out loud while reading it. And I have a craving to try out some Ostepølse. I would even settle for a chili dog if I could get one.

I think it's atleast somewhat true, when I was in the army here we had this huge exercise, and we had American soldiers participating.. And some of this seems familiar :P
